My name is John Johnston and im 27 yrs old. I started my career as a chef then moved onto college studying IT before realising my real passion was photography.
I take great pride with every wedding im assigned too and hopefully this comes across in both my images and also when we finally get a chance to meet each other. I try to make your day as relaxed as possible while catching every detail and expression.
There are a number of reasons why i love shooting weddings, one of the reasons is getting to meet new and interesting people with each new wedding i shoot.
Though for me personally the most pleasure i get out of shooting weddings is capturing the ever changing expressions you see through the whole day of this special occasion.
In my eyes this is the most important part of your wedding, capturing natural images throughout the day and incorporating this into a unique storybook album that you will cherish for the rest of your lives.
As you may have guessed my style of shooting depends on capturing natural informal images with the minimal of interference to the natural flow of your wedding.
Of course, i also believe each and every wedding has to have formal shots incorporated into the album so these type of shots will of course be provided , though most of the day is informal and natural which makes for a true representation of the days events.
As of 2008, all weddings i book will be shot by two photographers, both myself and my collegue george monaghan. The bonus of having two photographers at a wedding allows for shots that would be impossible to get if only one photographer was present.
